The dress code is business casual, they say, but that could mean a lot of things. How much business? How much casual? When I think of corporate core, I think of classic grays and sharp silhouettes. To layer, wine red and gold green knits and accessories dominate this season’s definition of corpcore, but here are some basics of the office siren dress code.

Powerful shoulders and flared peplum define the office siren aesthetic, and texture-wise, you can look towards glossy leather, snakeskin, and matte fabrics. At the end of the day, it’s all you and how you feel in your definition of corpcore.

So the Office Siren makes a yearly comeback. Here are the seven basics of corporate core.
