A couple of years ago, I developed dyshidrotic eczema (pompholyx) on my hands and also have eczema breakouts on my face. Every winter, my skin reacts to the season changes as the air dries out. My skin specifically reacts to weather changes and stress, and also reacts to the food I eat.

After hearing about Centella asiatica (cica) and its benefits, I figured that I had nothing to lose considering my spring eczema was healing as I was entering the summer.

The thick green gel was still breathable in the humidity. In the winters, my skin was moisturized all day. It protected my skin if I had leftover scabbing from eczema breakouts, and helped with inflammation and redness. I’m on my second year of using this, and it’s helped greatly with keeping my skin soft and moisturized.

I used this after the VT Cica foam cleanser and MEDIHEAL Phyto-enzyme Peeling Pad.
